About Ormond Beach Soccer Club
Ormond Beach Soccer Club has been Volusia County’s home for youth soccer since 1979. We are a non-profit, run by and for the families here, with recreational and competitive programs for boys and girls — and one aim: to inspire a lifelong love of soccer while developing players of character, integrity and skill.
Competitive Soccer
Year-round training and league play from August to May, led by our licensed professional coaching staff.
Recreational Soccer
Our largest program. Every age and every ability is welcome — whether it’s a first season or a tenth.
Foundations Program
A first introduction to the game for our youngest players, in a patient and supportive setting.
Frequently Asked Questions
What programs do you offer?
Three. Recreational is our largest — open to every ability, with games on Saturdays here in Ormond Beach. Competitive is year-round travel soccer for players who want to be pushed. Foundations is a first introduction to the game for our youngest players.
Does my child have to try out?
Not for Recreational — it is open to everyone and nobody is cut. Competitive teams hold tryouts each spring; the dates and age groups are on the Tryouts page. If the season is already under way, contact us — we can often arrange an individual tryout.
How do I register?
Start on the page for the program that fits your player — Recreational, Competitive or Foundations. Each one explains what the season looks like and how to take the next step. If you are not sure which is right, get in touch and we will help you choose.
What leagues do your competitive teams play in?
Our competitive sides play in the National 1 League and Pre-ECNL, alongside regional league play through the Central Florida Premier League. The Leagues page explains how they fit together.
Can I volunteer or coach?
Yes. Our recreational teams are led by adult volunteer coaches, and the club runs on families who step up. Contact us and we will point you to the right person.
